This tour of Andalusia will take in three of the main cities in Andalucia: Granada, Córdoba & Seville. You will also have a tour of the picturesque town of Ronda. Rather than simply providing transport for people to go to the “main” tourist sights, this trip will include other elements that are usually only ever add-ons in other itineraries. You’ll fly from the UK to Malaga.

At 18:00, the bus will leave Malaga airport for the beautiful town of Ronda. When you arrive into Ronda we will check-in to the hotel and then go for a welcome meal together.

Sunday


After a relaxing breakfast, we’ll do a tour of Ronda. You will have an opportunity to take some snaps of the jaw-dropping “Puente Nuevo” (New Bridge) which crosses a 120m gorge. The views from the bridge are beautiful and the views of the bridge (from the bottom) are equally spectacular. You will also have a chance to explore the old bull ring which includes a museum of bull fighting in Spain.

We will then continue to Seville via a stunning white village where we will have lunch.

We will arrive into Seville and then go out together for supper.

Monday


Today we will go to visit one of Europe’s biggest Cathedrals and the Royal Alcazar and its gardens. You will have the afternoon at leisure and your guide will give you recommendations for your free time. The Plaza de Espana is well worth visiting.

This afternoon and evening you will have completely at leisure.

Tuesday


This morning we will visit a traditional local market. After a quick stop and maybe some churros, we will go to a small suburb of Seville where you can partake in a traditional cookery class. (Read about the class here). You’re able to actually go into a local’s kitchen (don’t worry, they’ll have been warned beforehand) and they will teach you some authentic Spanish recipes. Be sure to pack your Spanish dictionary.

After lunch, you will have the afternoon at leisure and will completely understand the word siesta.

Wednesday


This morning we will take the bus to an olive oil farm outside Seville owned the company Basilippo. We will have a tour around the olive groves and then have olive oil tastings with tapas.

Following the tastings, we make our way towards Cordoba. After checking into the hotel, you will have free time to go to explore the Mezquita on your own. We will reconvene and have supper at a particularly good local restaurant!

Thursday


After a relaxed morning and breakfast in Cordoba, we’ll go to Granada where you’ll have the rest of the day free to explore the beautiful town.

In the evening, there is the option of being transferred to an exciting area of Granada known as Sacromonte. This area is well known for its Flamenco and gypsy culture. The evening will involve a tour around the area, dinner and a Flamenco show in a traditional cave.

Friday


This morning we’ll go to visit one of Andalucia’s most beautiful and iconic sites: the Alhambra. After the guided tour, we take the bus to Albaicin for lunch and, following lunch, we will go to a bar that has astonishing views of the monument.

We will then have a final celebration meal in Granada.

We leave Granada after breakfast in time for your flight from Malaga back to the UK.
